An unexpected problem that frequently arises when you purchase a new home or drill a new source of water for an existing home, is concern about the quality of your water supply. Whether you have lived with well water your entire life, or are buying your first home without a public water connection, you may find yourself in the position of having to check your water for contaminants in order to feel secure in the quality of what you are drinking. There are several factors that will help indicate to us just what kind of testing might be appropriate for your water supply, so we can try and eliminate the cost and hassle of unnecessary testing. To help alleviate these concerns, we offer free testing for some of the basic mineral problems frequently encountered. Listed below are the most common things we test for, and any other testing can generally be performed upon request.

The following tests are ones we can perform for you either in our offices in Kingston, New Hampshire, or at your home during a free estimate or site evaluation. They generally take only a few minutes apiece.

In-Home Free Testing

Tests listed below are ones requiring laboratory testing, and are sent to an independent, certified outside laboratory. We generally have test results within 24-48 hours of delivery of samples to the laboratory. Some tests such as that for bacteria require special care or expedited delivery to the lab in order to return an accurate result. Bacteria must be delivered to the lab within a 24 hour window after sampling in order to be accepted.
